URGENT UPDATE: A 43-year-old man from Canyon Country has been arrested for making false emergency reports, following an alarming incident on Monday evening, October 23, 2023. Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a call about a robbery at the intersection of Langside Avenue and Soledad Canyon Road, only to discover that the claims were unfounded.
Upon their arrival, deputies spoke with the informant and quickly determined that no robbery had occurred.
