Samsung Unveils Multi-Platform Experience for Fallout Fans

Samsung is joining forces with Amazon, Bethesda Softworks, and Xbox to enhance the experience of fans eagerly awaiting the launch of Fallout Season Two on Prime Video this December. This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive platform for viewers and gamers, allowing them to engage with the Fallout universe like never before.

Experience Fallout Across Multiple Platforms

As part of this initiative, Samsung TV Plus will stream the first season of Fallout subscription-free from December 3 through December 25, 2023. This offer allows both new and returning audiences to immerse themselves in the series that explores life in a post-apocalyptic world. The show, produced by Kilter Films, follows the challenges faced by survivors 200 years after a nuclear catastrophe, as they navigate the complexities of a drastically altered environment.

Samsung’s devices, including the Samsung Neo QLED 8K and OLED models, will showcase the series in stunning detail. Additionally, viewers can look forward to the highly anticipated Season Two, which premieres on December 17, 2023. This season is expected to delve deeper into the narrative, taking fans on an adventure through the wasteland of the Mojave and into the ruins of New Vegas.

Gaming Integration with Xbox

For gamers, Samsung’s partnership extends into the realm of interactive entertainment. The latest expansion for Fallout 76, titled “Burning Springs,” is now accessible through the Xbox app on Samsung Gaming Hub. This expansion marks the largest update to the game, introducing new territories in a post-nuclear Ohio, coinciding with the upcoming television series.

Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, noting, “When Jonah and I first talked about bringing Fallout to the screen, it was always about doing the world of the games right, but also bringing to life new stories in that world.” The crossover between the game and the series allows players to interact with new characters, including “The Ghoul,” a gunslinger voiced by actor Walton Goggins.

This integration not only enhances the gaming experience but also creates a seamless connection between the television show and interactive gameplay. Fans can now switch between watching the series and playing the game, all while enjoying high-quality visuals on Samsung devices.

Samsung’s Head of Product for Gaming, Kevin Beatty, remarked on the significance of this collaboration, stating, “This collaboration is a perfect example of how Samsung continues to redefine entertainment by connecting experiences across all entertainment mediums.” He highlighted that Samsung products are positioned as the ideal platform for fully experiencing the Fallout universe, whether through streaming or gaming.

In addition to the viewing and gaming opportunities, fans can engage with the Fallout community on Twitch. From December 2 to December 31, 2023, viewers can earn a custom chat badge by subscribing or gifting a subscription to any streamer in the Fallout 76 category, further enhancing the interactive experience.

With this multifaceted approach, Samsung, Amazon, Bethesda, and Xbox are not only celebrating the return of Fallout but also setting a new standard for how audiences can engage with their favorite franchises. The collaboration promises to deliver a rich tapestry of storytelling, gaming, and community interaction, all centered around the beloved Fallout universe.
