BREAKING NEWS: Dr. Patricia “Pat” Anne Huber, a cherished member of the Coopersburg community, has died at the age of 77. She passed away on December 7, 2025, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and dedication.
Pat Huber was not only a beloved physician but also a devoted mother and wife. She shared an enduring marriage with her husband, Dr. Steve Sisson, for over 35 years. Her daughter, Dana Sisson, was not just family but also her closest friend, highlighting the deep bonds that characterized Pat’s life.
Born on July 15, 1948, Pat graduated from the University of Rochester and earned her M.D. from the University of Texas at Galveston. She completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where she established a career notable for its intelligence, commitment, and exemplary care.
Pat was a woman of diverse interests. She had a passion for cooking, often gathering friends and family around her table. Her love for gardening and floral arranging was evident in the beauty she cultivated both inside and outside her home. An avid reader, Pat found solace in books, and her gentle spirit extended to her beloved cats, Toby and Russo.
Faith was central to Pat’s life. As an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, she found community, purpose, and cherished friendships that enriched her life.
Pat is survived by her husband, Dr. R. Steven Sisson; her daughter, Dana Sisson; her nephew, Jeff Huber; and her two beloved cats. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Duane Huber and Jean Anne Fretz, as well as her two brothers, Rick and Ed Huber.
A public visitation will take place on December 28, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, located at 150 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Mother Laura Howell.
