Netflix has officially opened its new venue, Netflix House, at Galleria Dallas on December 11, 2023. This innovative space allows fans to engage with their favorite shows and movies in a unique and immersive way. Spanning over 100,000 square feet, Netflix House is a permanent exhibit that showcases popular titles such as Wednesday, Squid Game, One Piece, Stranger Things, and A Knives Out Mystery through interactive experiences designed to captivate visitors.
Dallas becomes only the second city in the United States to host a Netflix House, following Philadelphia. Prior to the public opening, the venue held a VIP event on December 9, welcoming media, influencers, local celebrities, and key Netflix executives. Notable attendees included actors David Harbour and Cara Buono from Stranger Things, as well as Alexandra Breckenridge from Virgin River, and cheerleaders from the Dallas Cowboys.
Upon entering Netflix House, visitors are greeted by a grand staircase adorned with artwork from various Netflix shows, creating an ideal backdrop for photographs. Admission to the venue is free, but the experiential rooms, such as Stranger Things: Escape the Dark and Squid Game: Survive the Trials, charge $39 per person per room. Each room offers an hour-long experience that immerses participants in the worlds of their favorite series. In the Squid Game room, players have the chance to compete in five games, including the iconic Red Light, Green Light. Meanwhile, the Stranger Things room invites visitors to embark on a search-and-rescue mission for three missing individuals.
As attendees ascend the staircase, they find a vibrant area dedicated to Netflix Bites, a restaurant and bar serving dishes inspired by various shows and movies. Menu highlights include the Red Bite and Green Bite chicken bites, Emily’s Italian Fling Salad from Emily in Paris, and the K-Pop inspired Huntr/x Power Up Ssam, a grilled pork dish.
Another exciting feature of Netflix House is Netflix RePLAY, an arcade room filled with customized versions of classic games. Visitors can enjoy interactive experiences such as a tug-of-war game inspired by Squid Game, a maze from Bridgerton, and the popular Floor Is Lava game.
A gift shop complements the experience, offering a range of merchandise, including T-shirts, mugs, keychains, posters, and replica props from Netflix’s most beloved properties.
With Netflix reportedly on the brink of acquiring Warner Bros. Pictures, the Dallas venue may soon expand its offerings. Future additions could include characters and imagery from renowned franchises such as DC Comics, Casablanca, and Sinners, enhancing the appeal of this engaging destination for fans. As the entertainment landscape evolves, Netflix House stands as a testament to the streaming giant’s commitment to providing immersive experiences that resonate with audiences around the globe.
