URGENT UPDATE: A 24-year-old man was shot dead in front of storefronts in Far Rockaway, Queens, on December 30, 2025, as police continue to search for the suspect involved in this shocking incident. The shooting occurred just after 6:40 PM at 289 Beach 14th Street.
Emergency responders from the 101st Precinct arrived shortly after receiving a 911 call about the shooting. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. He was quickly transported to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, pending notification of his family. The motive behind this brutal act remains unclear, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
