Jerome F. Bartel, age 91, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 31, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Judith “Judy” Bartel, along with their children, Susan (Edward) Carroll and David Bartel. His family also includes his grandson, Paxton Carroll, and a brother-in-law, Ted (Mary Ann) Horner, as well as many other relatives and friends who cherished him.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on January 10, 2026, at the Klecatsky & Sons West Chapel, located at 1051 South Robert Street in West St. Paul. There will be a gathering two hours prior to the service to allow family and friends to pay their respects. Following the service, a private entombment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, an organization dedicated to helping those in need.
The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Inver Glen Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
Jerome Bartel’s legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, reflecting a life filled with love, family, and community connections.
