UPDATE: Nine members of the Pagans motorcycle gang have been arrested and charged following a violent shooting outside a Wawa convenience store in West Norriton Township, Pennsylvania. The incident, which occurred on October 17, left six people injured, including two innocent bystanders.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the arrests earlier today, detailing the charges against the suspects, aged between 29 and 51. Among those arrested are: Justin Noll, Erik Rosenberger, Luke Higgins, Joel Hernandez-Martinez, Jason Lawless, Manuel Baez-Santos, George Cwienk III, Erik Dixon, and George Hripto Jr.
Authorities report that the shooting unfolded around 9:10 PM when members of the Unknown Bikers motorcycle gang were filling up at the Wawa. Just two minutes later, surveillance footage captured the Pagans motorcycle gang arriving and surrounding their rivals. A physical confrontation ensued, with Pagans attempting to remove the Unknown Bikers’ gang colors.
As tensions escalated, gang members were seen taking a “shooting platform stance” before gunfire erupted within minutes of their arrival. Among the injured were two innocent bystanders: a man shot in the face while inflating his vehicle’s tires and a woman shot in the torso near the store entrance. Additionally, one Unknown Biker was shot in the left forearm and thigh, while three Pagans members also sustained injuries.
All nine suspects face serious charges, including 12 felony counts of Aggravated Assault, two felony counts of Riot, 14 counts of Simple Assault, and 46 counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person. They were arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy, who set bail at $500,000 cash for most of the suspects. Noll’s bail was set at $50,000 unsecured due to his ongoing medical treatment.
This shocking incident highlights the escalating violence associated with motorcycle gangs in the region, raising concerns for public safety. Law enforcement is urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward as they continue their investigation.
