Lake Mead Mohave Adventures (LMMA) has announced the return of its popular holiday event, “Rafting with Santa,” featuring tours along the stunning Colorado River. This festive experience will take place from December 17 to December 21, 2025, and again on Christmas Eve, offering families and outdoor enthusiasts a unique way to celebrate the season.
The “Rafting with Santa” tour covers a 12-mile route, beginning near the base of the Hoover Dam. Guests can expect a delightful journey led by Santa Claus and his helpers, who will pilot the motor-assisted rafts. The tour includes opportunities to learn about the history and wildlife of the Black Canyon, adding an educational element to the festive fun.
Chad Taylor, director of marketing and guest experience at LMMA, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “‘Rafting with Santa’ combines the wonder of the holidays with the awe of the great outdoors. It offers an extraordinary perspective of the Colorado River few get to see, especially with Santa as your guide.”
The tour is designed for guests of all ages, featuring special holiday pricing options. Families can purchase a bundle for $250, which accommodates two adults and one child, with children aged four and under enjoying free entry. Other pricing options include a couples special for $199, an adult and child deal for $175, and individual tickets priced at $100 for adults and $88 for youths. Guests will also receive additional amenities, including a boxed lunch, a collectible Christmas ornament, and complimentary hot chocolate.
Tours will depart at 10:00 a.m., with guests required to check in by 9:30 a.m. at the Lake Mead RV Village, located at 268 Lakeshore Road, Boulder City, NV 89005. Participants should note that the $15 entrance fee to the National Park is not included in the ticket price, although this fee is waived for holders of certain national park passes. Round-trip transportation from Las Vegas hotels is available for $69 per person.
