James Michael “Little Jimmy” Smith, a beloved member of the Fairchance community, passed away in his home on November 13, 2025. He was 47 years old and is remembered for his warm spirit and dedication to his work as a Produce Manager at the Fairchance Shop-n-Save. His untimely death marks a significant loss for family, friends, and colleagues alike.
Born on December 16, 1977, James was the son of Michael and Georgia Jean Smith of Uniontown. He spent many years contributing to the local grocery store, where he was known for his friendly demeanor and commitment to quality service. His passion for his work and his friendly interactions made a lasting impression on customers and coworkers.
James is preceded in death by his father, Michael Smith, his mother, Georgia Jean Smith, and his younger brother, Michael Smith. The loss of these family members deeply affected him, yet he remained a pillar of strength for those around him.
