Elon Musk has initiated a lawsuit against OpenAI, claiming the artificial intelligence company has accrued illegal profits estimated between $79 billion and $134 billion. As a former co-founder, Musk alleges that OpenAI has strayed from its original non-profit mission, seeking to recoup damages for what he characterizes as “wrongful gains.”
Musk, who co-founded OpenAI in 2015, contributed $38 million in seed funding during the organization’s formative years.
