Images shared online depict the abandoned restaurant, which appears to be in the process of packing up, with boxes scattered across the counters and trolleys visible on the floor. The sign on the door provided some details, stating, “We plan to find another site locally in the future. We apologize for this inconvenience.” It also directed diners to nearby Five Guys locations, ensuring they would still have access to the brand’s offerings.
Recent Closures and Future Plans
This closure follows a similar situation earlier in the year, when Five Guys shut down its restaurant in New Milford, Connecticut, on June 9, 2023, citing vague circumstances. That location was also marked as “permanently closed,” leaving customers with little explanation for the abrupt change.
The announcement on Facebook expressed empathy toward loyal customers, noting, “We know so many of you have grabbed fries, shakes, and late-night burgers here over the years — so this one stings a little. Let’s send some good vibes as they look for a fresh spot to make a comeback!”
While it remains unclear why Five Guys opted to close the Euless location and when it might reopen elsewhere, the chain has plans to expand. Five Guys recently revealed intentions to open eight new locations in Central Florida. This comes after North Star Dining USA Inc. acquired 17 Five Guys locations in September and aims to further extend its presence in the region.
