Paris Baguette Expands to Novato and Vallejo with New Locations

A new French-style bakery and pastry shop, Paris Baguette, will soon open two locations in Northern California, expanding its presence in the region. The New Jersey-based company announced plans for shops in Novato and Vallejo, with the Novato location set to open this summer at 15 Rowland Way. This new shop will follow the existing location at 150 Steele Lane in Santa Rosa.

Construction has already begun on the Novato site, as confirmed by Krystie Keith, the director of franchise development. The Vallejo store will be located at 1178 Admiral Callaghan Lane and is scheduled to open in 2027.

Founded in 1988 and owned by South Korea’s SPC Group, Paris Baguette specializes in French-inspired breads, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. The company has grown significantly, boasting over 4,000 locations worldwide, including multiple outlets across North America.

In 2025, Paris Baguette opened 77 new bakery cafés, executed more than 100 leases, and awarded nearly 300 development agreements. This rapid expansion has not gone unnoticed, as the company ranks No. 29 on the Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list for 2026 and holds the top position in the bakery café category.

“We’re committed to continued growth as we work to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community in markets nationwide,” stated Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette, in a recent communication with PR Newsweek.

The new openings in Novato and Vallejo reflect Paris Baguette’s strategy to enhance its footprint in California, particularly in the North Bay area. As the bakery chain continues to expand, it aims to cater to a growing customer base looking for quality French-style baked goods in their local communities.
