A local jazz trio will perform the beloved soundtrack of the 1965 television special “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on December 11, 2023. The event, featuring Chuck Hank on bass, Alec Mayes on drums, and Clarke Reid on piano, will take place at the iNDIGO ROOM located in iAM Music, 1315 Main Ave. #207. Tickets are available for $20 in advance or $22 at the door.
The performance promises to breathe new life into the classic music composed by Vince Guaraldi. The trio’s goal is not just to perform but to evoke the nostalgia that accompanies the original tunes. “Hopefully, it’s going to give you those same feelings as when you first heard that record,” Hank said.
