Hosted by Mitch Albom, the founder of SAY Detroit and a prominent columnist for the Detroit Free Press, the event will take place at the Somerset Collection mall in Troy, Michigan. This year’s radiothon aims to gather funds for the SAY Detroit Play Center and Family Health Clinic, along with other initiatives that support families in need.

SAY Detroit’s Mission and Community Reach

Founded in 2006, SAY Detroit has evolved to become a vital resource for the community. The organization operates an after-school learning center, offering educational support to children, and has established a free family health clinic to address healthcare needs. Additionally, SAY Detroit provides a housing program designed to assist families facing homelessness, reflecting its commitment to improving the quality of life for Detroit residents.

Through initiatives like the radiothon, SAY Detroit continues to make a significant impact in the community, helping families build a brighter future.
