On March 1, 2026, Dr. Bradley Biggers will transition into a dual role at the Bradley County Medical Center (BCMC) as both a hospitalist and a family practice provider at the BCMC Rural Health Clinic. This strategic change aims to enhance patient care and improve access to primary health services in the region.
Dr. Biggers’ Role and Impact
Since joining BCMC in 2017, Dr. Biggers has been a vital part of the healthcare community. As a hospitalist, he will round on patients from Monday to Friday, ensuring consistent care throughout the week. His return to family practice at the BCMC Rural Health Clinic will occur from Monday to Thursday, allowing him to serve patients in a primary care setting.
This dual role is designed to bolster the continuity of care, with patients benefiting from receiving treatment from the same provider during their hospital stay. This consistent approach is expected to improve the overall quality of care delivered at BCMC.
“We are pleased to be able to expand primary care services with the addition of Dr. Biggers to the Rural Health Clinic,” said Leslie Huitt, CEO and CFO of BCMC. “He will join Dr. Gregory and our skilled nurse practitioners to provide high-quality care. We believe that having Dr. Biggers care for our hospital patients will enhance the quality of care by having the same provider for the majority of their stay, if not their entire stay.”
Enhanced Access to Healthcare
Dr. Biggers’ return to family practice is particularly significant for residents of Bradley County and Southeast Arkansas, as it will improve access to essential primary care services. The BCMC Rural Health Clinic is located at 304 East Central Street, directly across from the hospital’s emergency room entrance.
Patients interested in scheduling an appointment with Dr. Biggers can reach the BCMC Rural Health Clinic at 870-226-8636. The clinic is committed to providing high-quality healthcare and ensuring that community members receive the attention and support they need.
