After being evicted from The Pointe, Kevin found himself in a precarious situation. With a history of health issues and a lack of family support, he struggled to secure stable housing. However, circumstances worsened when his roommates faced legal issues that led to their eviction, forcing him to live on the streets. Despite being out of town for an event, Holcomb coordinated to provide immediate assistance.

Unfortunately, past behavioral issues with his ex-wife led to a denial, forcing Holcomb to seek alternative housing options. After extensive advocacy, she located a vacant mobile home unit and successfully negotiated a lease for Kevin, demonstrating the impact of personal advocacy in overcoming systemic barriers.
With newfound stability, Kevin began to rebuild his life. Holcomb provided him with mobility assistance, food, and essential items for his new home.
