The specific allocations for the library construction projects in Assembly District 118 are as follows:
– The Prospect Free Library in Oneida County will receive $12,750 to replace nine windows and install new vinyl siding on the exterior.
– The Frankfort Free Library in Herkimer County has been awarded $82,912 to remove existing windows on the main floor and install energy-efficient replacements.
– The Old Forge Library, also in Herkimer County, will receive $144,559 to install a hydronic geothermal heating and cooling system beneath its parking lot.
– The Gloversville Public Library in Fulton County will benefit from $104,626 in funding to install both internal and external security cameras.
– The Johnstown Public Library, also located in Fulton County, has been awarded $251,804 to construct an exterior hardscape, rebuild its historic entrance, and create a multipurpose outdoor space.
