Tosca Theresa Pardini, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 94. Surrounded by her loving family, her final moments were marked by the soft strains of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon,” which played in the background as a beam of sunlight illuminated her face.
Born on May 7, 1931, in San Francisco, Tosca embodied the spirit of her hometown throughout her life. She later settled in Ross, California, where she cultivated a life rich in family, tradition, and unconditional love. Tosca met her husband, Sergio Pardini, marrying him on February 17, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach. Their remarkable partnership spanned sixty-one adventurous years, characterized by deep devotion and shared experiences.
Known for her warmth and elegance, Tosca created a welcoming home for family and friends. Her Italian heritage was a source of pride, and she passed down traditions that enriched her family’s life. Tosca’s kindness and grace left a lasting impression on all who encountered her.
Tosca’s love for travel was matched only by her passion for dancing. Together with Sergio, she brought joy to countless gatherings with their spirited performances. Her flair for style was evident in her carefully curated wardrobe, and her culinary skills were particularly highlighted by her renowned lasagna and unforgettable lobster thermidor. Tosca’s exceptional talent in interior design transformed spaces into havens of comfort and beauty.
Legacy of Love and Family
Tosca is survived by her three children: Mario Pardini and his wife Theresa, Paul Pardini and his wife Laurie, and Laura Ferjanec and her husband Shawn. She took great pride in her role as Nonna, forging loving connections with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and her husband Jeff, Daniel Pardini and his wife Carlie, Kimberly Horan and her husband Mike, Lauren Baldwin and her husband Nick, and Courtney Pardini. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin. Each of these children brought her immense joy.
Tosca leaves behind a family that adored her and will forever cherish her memory. Though she is no longer physically present, her spirit will undoubtedly continue to guide and comfort those she loved so deeply.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on November 22, 2025, at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her memory.
As her family reflects on a life filled with love and laughter, they are reminded that Tosca’s presence will always be felt in their hearts and homes. May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in eternal peace.
