Brandi Carlile will perform at the Target Center in Minneapolis on February 21, 2024, as part of her newly announced Human Tour. This tour supports her upcoming album, “Returning to Myself,” which is set to be released on October 27, 2023. The tour will kick off on February 10 in Philadelphia.
The album, produced by Carlile along with Andrew Watt, Aaron Dessner, and Justin Vernon, marks her first solo release in four years. Earlier this year, she collaborated with Elton John on the track “Who Believes in Angels?” The new album consists of ten songs featuring Carlile’s longtime bandmates, Phil and Tim Hanseroth, as well as other notable musicians such as SistaStrings, Josh Klinghoffer, Chad Smith, and Dave Mackay.
The title track has already been released as a single, generating excitement among fans. Tickets for the concert at the Target Center will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on October 31 through brandicarlile.com. Minneapolis has been a significant market for Carlile since her rise to fame two decades ago. She has performed at a variety of venues across the city, from the intimate 400 Bar to the larger Xcel Energy Center. Most recently, she was in the Twin Cities in 2023 for a performance at the Minnesota State Fair.
Opening for Carlile at the Target Center concert will be the band The Head and the Heart, adding to the anticipation for an evening filled with exceptional music.
