Kathleen Laurel “Kat, Kathy” Allen, a cherished member of the Centralia community, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at her home in Centralia, Washington. She was 72 years old. Born in 1953 in San Francisco, California, Kathy spent her formative years in Centralia, where she graduated from Centralia High School in the Class of 1971.
Kathy dedicated her life to her family and friends. She found joy in bowling at Fairlanes Bowl, where she also worked as a cocktail waitress, connecting with many in her community. Her husband, David Allen, and daughter, Billie-Jo, along with her grandson, David, and son-in-law, Corey, remember her as a devoted family member who treasured the time spent with them.
Legacy and Remembrance
Kathy’s legacy is marked by her love for family and friends. She is remembered fondly by those who knew her well. Her family recalls her dedication and the warmth she brought to their lives. Preceding her in death were her mother, her grandparents, her brother Robert Allen, and her beloved son, also named Robert.
Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. As a testament to her life and the impact she made, a graveside service will be held on December 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, located at 1113 Caveness Dr., Centralia, Washington.
