Lori Ann Giefer, aged 66, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, in Eagan, Minnesota. Born on March 18, 1959, in St. Paul, she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Bernise Giefer. Lori’s life was marked by her deep commitment to family, creativity, and community.
A graduate of Harding High School in 1977, Lori dedicated herself to her roles as a mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. Known for her nurturing spirit, she engaged in various creative pursuits, including crafting, cooking, and gardening. Lori was also a passionate supporter of her favorite sports team, the Minnesota Vikings, often cheering them on with enthusiasm.
Legacy of Love and Family
Throughout her life, Lori cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren, whom she described as the light of her life. She is remembered fondly by her children, Charles “Andy” Reidell and Laura Larson, as well as her adored grandchildren: Colette, Lily, Maverick, and Camden. In addition to her immediate family, Lori is survived by her parents, William “Bill” and Bernise Giefer of Woodbury, her brothers Greg and Mike Giefer (Cindy), and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Lori’s life on December 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Summit Funeral & Cremation in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. A ceremony of remembrance will be held at 12:30 p.m. to honor Lori’s legacy and the impact she made on those around her.
