Beloved Matriarch Tosca Theresa Pardini Passes Away at 94

Tosca Theresa Pardini, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by her family. Her final moments were marked by a serene atmosphere, with the soft strains of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon” playing as a ray of sunshine illuminated her face. She was 94 years old.

Born in San Francisco on May 7, 1931, Tosca embodied the spirit of her city throughout her life. She later settled in Ross, California, where she cultivated a home rich in family traditions and love. Tosca married the love of her life, Sergio Pardini, on February 17, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach. Their marriage lasted an adventurous 61 years, grounded in a deep devotion that defined their partnership.

Known for her warmth and quiet strength, Tosca created an inviting home that welcomed all. Her Italian heritage was a source of pride, and she relished passing down the traditions she held dear. Friends and family will remember her for her kindness and grace, as well as her strong sense of style. Tosca delighted in dressing elegantly, bringing beauty to every occasion.

Traveling the world with Sergio, Tosca enjoyed many adventures. They were known for their dancing, lighting up every room they entered with joy. An exceptional cook, she was especially famous for her lasagna and unforgettable lobster thermidor. Her talent for interior design allowed her to create comforting and beautiful spaces that reflected her personality.

Tosca is survived by her three children: Mario Pardini and his wife Theresa, Paul Pardini and his wife Laurie, and Laura Ferjanec and her husband Shawn. She cherished her role as Nonna, building loving connections with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and her husband Jeff, Daniel Pardini and his wife Carlie, Kimberly Horan and her husband Mike, Lauren Baldwin and her husband Nick, and Courtney Pardini. Her legacy continues through her treasured great-grandchildren: Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin. Each brought her profound joy.

Although she is no longer physically present, Tosca leaves behind a family who adored her and will forever hold her memory close. Her spirit is expected to continue guiding and comforting those she loved deeply.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on November 22, 2025, at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
