Eastern Caribbean Signs Landmark MoU to Boost Innovation and Robotics

During the Fiftieth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Heads of Government, held in Saint Kitts and Nevis from February 24 to 27, 2026, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and the Eastern Caribbean Robotics and Innovation Association (EC-RIA). This agreement aims to promote advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and STEAM education across the Eastern Caribbean.

The MoU was officially signed by Dr Didacus Jules, the Director General of the OECS, and H.E. Dr Ricardo Neil, the Chairman and Founder of EC-RIA. This partnership represents a crucial step towards fostering an innovative ecosystem within the region.
