FBI Probes Suspicious Hunting Stand Near Air Force One Zone

Federal agents are investigating a suspicious hunting stand located near the landing zone for Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport. The stand, which was positioned with a direct sight line to the area where former President Donald Trump would disembark, was discovered during security preparations for his return to West Palm Beach.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the investigation is currently active. While no individuals were found at the scene, Patel indicated that the agency has not yet linked the hunting stand to any persons of interest. “Prior to the President’s return, the Secret Service discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone,” he stated in an official release.

The discovery was made during routine security measures, according to Anthony Guglielmi, Chief of Communications for the Secret Service. He noted that “items of interest” were located near the airport during advance preparations for Trump’s arrival. Guglielmi emphasized that there was no disruption to security protocols, and no individuals were found engaged with the suspicious structure.

The FBI has taken the lead in this investigation, mobilizing resources to collect evidence from the site. Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino mentioned on a news program that the hunting stand was dismantled by agents and is now undergoing analysis. “It’s being flown to our lab,” Bongino explained. “We will apply all available forensic tools, from digital to biometric, to uncover who constructed the stand and the intent behind it.”

This incident highlights ongoing concerns regarding security measures surrounding high-profile individuals. The Secret Service and FBI are working collaboratively to ensure the safety of all involved.

As investigations progress, authorities remain vigilant in monitoring potential threats. The situation underscores the importance of thorough security protocols, especially with significant figures like the former President involved.
