Louise Medina, a cherished matriarch and resident of San Pedro, California, passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2025, at the age of 83. Her family and friends remember her as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her life to nurturing those around her.
Louise is survived by her devoted husband Ralph Medina, daughter Julie Alesso and her husband Dave Alesso, son John Medina and his partner Yvette, along with her granddaughters Taylor Licouris and Madison Alesso, and grandson Christian Medina. Her family reflects on the warmth and kindness she shared throughout her life.
Memorial Services Scheduled
A visitation will be held at McNerney’s Mortuary on December 3 from 17:00 to 20:00. Family, friends, and community members are invited to pay their respects during this time. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Trinity on December 4 at 10:00. The burial will be private, allowing the family to grieve in their own way.
