UPDATE: A tragic car crash in Delaware has claimed the life of 27-year-old Elizabeth Draper. The Frederica resident lost control of her vehicle on March 12 while navigating a curve on Carpenter Bridge Road, just east of Jackson Ditch Road, near Harrington.
Authorities report that Draper crashed into a tree after losing control. She was immediately rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The incident has sparked an urgent investigation by the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has additional information to come forward.
