Emma was a cherished daughter to Rebecca Jones and the late Dennis Jones, and a beloved sister to Molly Hawthorne, as well as a proud triplet alongside Ella and Evan Jones. Known for her academic excellence and athletic prowess, Emma graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 2014 and went on to earn a degree in Biology from Lebanon Valley College in 2018. During her time at college, she was honored as MVP (2017-2018) and named Outstanding Female Athlete of 2018.
Emma’s dedication to lacrosse transcended the field; it fostered a community that reflected her determination and loyalty. Her professional journey included roles as a lab technician in Berks County and a lab scientist in West Virginia, where she was living at the time of her passing. Many locals will remember her for her lively presence at Zia Maria’s Restaurant in Adamstown, where she and her sister Molly created an unforgettable team known for their energy and laughter.
Emma’s remarkable personality was defined by her boldness and generosity. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel valued and appreciated. Her unmatched sense of humor and open-heartedness made her a beloved figure in the lives of many. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 20252:00 PM at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, located at 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611. Friends and family are invited to gather from 12:00 noon until the time of the service to share in remembrance and support.
