Body of Portsmouth Man Found in Suffolk Field; Investigation Underway

URGENT UPDATE: The body of Antwan Faulcon, a 48-year-old man from Portsmouth, was discovered in a rural field in Suffolk this morning, raising serious concerns over the circumstances of his death. Authorities responded to the scene near the intersection of Old South Quay Road and Harvest Drive at approximately 9 a.m. and found Faulcon unresponsive. Despite attempts at medical aid, he was pronounced dead on-site.

The Suffolk Police Department has confirmed that an investigation is underway, although no cause of death has been disclosed. A police spokesperson indicated that officials are still determining the circumstances surrounding Faulcon’s passing.

In a troubling twist, a man with the same name and age was previously identified as a person of interest in a shooting incident in Portsmouth back in September. That man was reported missing on November 12 after last being seen on November 4 near the intersection of London Boulevard and Goode Way. He was wanted for questioning regarding a shooting on September 14 that resulted in injuries to another individual. Investigators were probing whether the suspect used Faulcon’s vehicle to escape the scene of the crime.

When asked about the ongoing investigation, a spokesperson for the Portsmouth Police Department stated they were still working to confirm if the deceased found in Suffolk is the same individual they had sought to question.
