Bulldogs Dominate St. Cloud State 4-0 in Urgent Victory

UPDATE: The seventh-ranked Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs delivered a commanding performance against St. Cloud State, winning 4-0 in a crucial NCHC matchup at Amsoil Arena on November 10, 2023. This victory elevates the Bulldogs to a strong 9-2 record this season, highlighting their dominance on home ice.

In a game filled with intensity, the Bulldogs showcased their scoring prowess with goals from Adam Kleber, Scout Truman, Zam Plante, and Jayson Shaugabay. Sophomore goaltender Adam Gajan of Slovakia was instrumental, making 18 saves to secure the shutout.

The scoring began with Kleber, who notched his second goal of the season late in the first period, assisted by defenseman Ty Hanson. This goal marked a significant moment as Kleber matched his entire freshman goal total in just his sophomore season, signaling his offensive growth.

Truman followed up with his fifth goal of the season in the second period, putting the Bulldogs ahead 2-0. His performance is noteworthy as he approaches his career high of 10 goals from last season.
