UPDATE: Federal authorities have arrested two young men connected to the notorious 764 sextortion ring, a group implicated in the online grooming and exploitation of vulnerable children. The arrests took place in Los Angeles just last week, highlighting the urgent fight against child exploitation.
18-year-old Pysher is accused of traveling from Pennsylvania to engage in horrific acts against a 13-year-old girl in a motel room in Castaic, California. Reports indicate that Pysher sexually assaulted the girl while brandishing a knife, cutting her and choking her to silence her cries for help. Investigators recovered a knife and personal lubricant at the scene, alongside bloody tissues discarded in the motel’s trash can.
Pysher had allegedly groomed his victim for over two months after they met in an online chat room for individuals with mental health issues, using the alias “Piano Man.” He now faces serious charges, including travel to engage in sexual conduct with a minor, which could lead to a 30-year prison sentence.
Just days before Pysher’s arrest, Gonzalez, aged 24, was apprehended for coercing minors into creating and sending him sexually explicit videos, including humiliating footage of self-harm. According to a Department of Justice (DOJ) affidavit, from April 2025 to June 2025, Gonzalez utilized social media and direct messaging to exploit children. He discussed extortion tactics with other users, threatening to expose explicit images to victims’ families.
The DOJ further notes that Gonzalez’s activities reflect a disturbing alignment with nihilistic violent extremist ideologies, placing him firmly within the framework of the 764 network. Described as a “terror network” by both the DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the 764 group has been linked to a range of sadistic online behaviors, with some characterizing it as a “Satanic neo-Nazi cult.”
Both men are currently being held without bond and have not yet entered pleas. Information regarding their defense attorneys remains unclear as investigations continue.
