UPDATE: A homicide investigation is in full swing following the shocking discovery of a man found hanging and burned under the I-610 North Loop overpass in northeast Houston late Thursday night. The Houston Police Department (HPD) responded to the grisly scene at 7600 North Loop East alongside the Houston Fire Department.
Authorities report that the victim, believed to be a man aged between 40 and 50 years old, was discovered hanging from the overpass. Disturbingly, he had sustained significant burns to his body. The exact identity of the victim has not been released as officials await autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the cause of death.
