In-N-Out Opens First Tennessee Locations This Week: Get Ready!

URGENT UPDATE: In-N-Out Burger is set to open its first three drive-thru locations in Tennessee this week, marking a highly anticipated expansion into the Southeast. The drive-thrus will launch in Lebanon and Antioch on Wednesday, December 10, followed by a Friday, December 12 opening in Murfreesboro.

This significant expansion will increase In-N-Out’s total restaurant count to 431 across 10 states, including California, Arizona, and now Tennessee. Residents are buzzing with excitement, as this is the first time the beloved burger chain will serve the region.

In-N-Out, headquartered in Irvine, California, has plans to relocate its leadership to Baldwin Park and establish an “eastern hub” in Franklin, a Nashville suburb. The company aims to enhance its operations and outreach in the Eastern United States.

In mid-July, Lynsi Snyder, In-N-Out’s owner, stirred interest when she revealed her family would be moving to Tennessee. “There’s a lot of really great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here,” Snyder stated in a podcast. This announcement drew considerable attention and reactions from fans and critics alike.

“We’re not leaving California or leaving our roots behind,” Snyder clarified following social media backlash.

The managers of the new restaurants bring over 60 years of experience with In-N-Out, ensuring that the quality and service remain top-notch. Employees will start at $17.50 per hour, a competitive wage in the region, although it’s lower than the $22-$23 starting rates in California.

The Franklin project, which includes a new 100,000-square foot office building, has been in development for years. Groundbreaking took place in September 2024, and the facility is expected to open in 2026. The address is 1948 Double Double Drive.

The expansion was first announced in January 2023 and has been a pivotal project for In-N-Out this year. The chain is eyeing the opening of as many as 35 restaurants in Tennessee in the coming years, as reported by local news.

Additionally, In-N-Out lists another Middle Tennessee location as “opening soon” at 1951 Double Double Drive in Franklin. This restaurant will join the growing list of establishments eager to serve customers in the area.

As anticipation builds for the launch, local media reports are preparing to cover the expected crowds. With social media buzzing, many are speculating on the excitement and lines that will form as the doors open for the first time.
