URGENT UPDATE: A tragic single-vehicle crash in Ross County, Ohio, has left one juvenile dead and three others seriously injured. The accident occurred early yesterday morning, around 7:30 a.m., on Black Run Road, just one mile west of State Route 772.
According to reports from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), the driver, identified as 27-year-old Christian Griesheimer from Chillicothe, was behind the wheel of a 2020 Toyota Corolla carrying four juvenile passengers. The vehicle veered off the roadway, colliding with roadside objects, including a tree and a concrete retaining wall.
All five occupants were rushed to Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. Tragically, one juvenile passenger was pronounced dead upon arrival. Griesheimer and two surviving youths sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and the scene saw a significant response from local emergency services.
