UPDATE: A new immersive experience designed to combat stress has just opened in Los Angeles, offering visitors a whimsical journey through bubbles. The Bubble Planet Experience, launched on December 19, 2023, at the Exhibition Hub Los Angeles Art Center, invites guests to slow down and reconnect with their playful side.
This innovative attraction spans 25,000 square feet and features six unique walkthrough rooms, each inspired by the joy of bubbles. Executive Producer John Zaller explains that the idea was born from childhood memories associated with making soap bubbles, aiming to recreate that sense of joy and fun in a modern setting. “We wanted to come up with a new type of immersive experience that combines digital technology with more traditional physical engagement elements,” Zaller stated.
Visitors will first encounter the LED Room, designed to simulate an underwater adventure. This interactive room responds to movements, lighting up as guests walk through, creating a mesmerizing visual experience. Following this, guests can explore the kaleidoscope room, filled with vibrant colors, before making their way to the Bubble Ocean, where they can engage with playful pink balloons.
Other highlights include the Selfie Room, where guests can capture fun moments surrounded by rubber ducks, and the Bubble Bath room, where tiny plastic bubbles await splashing. Zaller emphasizes that the experience is designed to help people unwind and escape the pressures of daily life. “I hope our guests leave inspired and uplifted,” he said.
The Bubble Planet Experience is expected to run in Los Angeles for at least six months, following its successful launches in Europe, Australia, and multiple U.S. locations. Tickets are priced at $14.90, making it an accessible option for those seeking a unique and refreshing outing.
