Suspect Arrested in Arlington After Odessa New Year’s Day Murder

UPDATE: A murder suspect has been apprehended in Arlington, Texas, following a deadly shooting in Odessa on January 1, 2026. The incident occurred at approximately 3:27 a.m., when Ector County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shots-fired call in the 1100 block of W. 57th Street.
