Furthermore, Lutnick reached out to Epstein in 2018 regarding real estate matters, further contradicting his previous statements.
In response to these troubling revelations, a spokesperson for the Commerce Department defended Lutnick, stating he has “never been accused of wrongdoing” and criticized the media for what they termed a “failing attempt” to distract from the Trump administration’s accomplishments, which they claim include securing trillions of dollars in investments and historic trade deals.
