Urgent: Tickets Available Now for Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

UPDATE: Tickets are NOW available for the thrilling “Murder at the Renaissance Faire,” a captivating murder mystery dinner theater presented by North County High School students. The event is set to take place on February 6 and 7, 2025, with dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. and the performance kicking off at 7 p.m.. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting evening!

The North County High School Drama Club, along with the North County Singers, is racing against time to solve the mystery as part of their biggest fundraising event of the year. Tickets are priced at $20 for the dinner-and-show combo, and $10 for show-only access. Only 75 tickets are available each night for the buffet-style dinner featuring delicious options like salad, pasta, build-your-own taco salads, and soft tacos, plus desserts and drinks.

These performances are critical for funding future productions and providing opportunities for Drama Club members. Previous events have included “Murder at the Pie Auction,” and the excitement is palpable as the cast prepares for this year’s show.

“This event would make the perfect date night with Valentine’s Day right around the corner,”

said Jennifer Stokes, the theater director.

Audiences will experience a unique narrative where the Renaissance Faire faces fierce competition from the neighboring Medieval World, threatening its existence. The plot thickens dramatically when the lead actor playing Romeo mysteriously disappears during a storm, culminating in a murder.

The cast, dressed in stunning Renaissance attire, invites attendees to engage with the theme through photo opportunities with backdrops and props. Flowers will be available for purchase to present to cast and crew, adding a personal touch to the evening.

Tickets are available for immediate purchase at the door or through the NCHS Drama’s Facebook page and https://www.onthestage.tickets/show/nchs-drama1/. With the clock ticking, grab your tickets now before they sell out!

Mark your calendars as the NCHS Drama Club also plans to wrap up its 2025-2026 season with the beloved murder-mystery favorite “Clue,” based on the classic board game, scheduled for late April or May.
