UPDATE: A driver faces multiple charges after crashing into a building in Beverly, Chicago, early this morning. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the 1800-block of West 103rd Street, according to Chicago police.
Authorities report that 41-year-old Reginald Fisher lost control of his vehicle, jumped the curb, and collided with the side of the structure. Fisher was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he is currently listed in serious condition. Fortunately, no other injuries have been reported.
Following the crash, police confirmed that Fisher has been charged with several misdemeanor offenses, including fleeing or attempting to elude an officer and driving with a suspended license. Fisher, a resident of Blue Island, was also cited for failing to reduce speed, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving without valid registration.
