Woman Arrested After Stabbing Man in Boulder Apartment

URGENT UPDATE: A woman has been arrested in Boulder after allegedly stabbing a man in the neck early Sunday morning, resulting in life-threatening injuries. Nicole Feest, 42Juniper Avenue.

The Boulder Police Department reports that officers arrived at the scene around 5 a.m. and found the 39-year-old man bleeding profusely, sitting in the doorway of the residence located in the 2700 block of Juniper Avenue. According to an arrest affidavit, Feest was involved in an altercation with her boyfriend when the victim intervened, asking them to leave the apartment.

Witnesses indicate that Feest refused to vacate the premises and suddenly attacked the man, slashing his throat. The victim, who was covered in blood, told police that he had also sustained a head injury from a glass bottle thrown by Feest earlier that morning.

A doctor’s assessment confirmed that the man’s injuries posed a substantial risk of death, underscoring the severity of the situation. The apartment’s tenant reported that her medication went missing after the chaotic confrontation, adding another layer of distress to this troubling case.

Feest was taken into custody at the scene and is currently being held on a $10,000 bail. She is set to appear in court for a filing of charges on Wednesday.
