The local community is set to celebrate the 26th annual Art in the Square with the upcoming event, Strokes of Art in the Square, on February 15, 2026. This festivity, hosted in the foyer of Southlake Town Hall, will feature refreshments and a showcase of exceptional artwork, marking the beginning of the season’s celebrations.
As the presenting sponsor, the Methodist Southlake Medical Center will support the Southlake Women’s Club Foundation in presenting the selected Northeast Tarrant County 501(c)3 charities as the beneficiaries for this year’s event. The artwork at Strokes will be juried and selected from various artists across the United States, offering a glimpse of the creative talents that will be displayed at the main event on April 24-26, 2026.
Voting for the coveted People’s Choice award will commence during the Strokes event, allowing attendees to select their favorite featured artist. Votes can be cast at Southlake Town Hall or through a QR code, with the voting period concluding on April 3, 2025. This interactive component encourages community engagement, fostering a sense of connection among art enthusiasts.
The Strokes of Art in the Square is co-sponsored by the Southlake Arts Council, Apex Arts League, and the Southlake Women’s Club. Attendees are encouraged to save the dates for the main event in April to fully immerse themselves in the artistic offerings and support local charities.
