Lawson was flagging traffic when the accident occurred. Family members confirmed to local news outlet 5NEWS that he was declared brain dead shortly after the incident, with plans to take him off life support to facilitate organ donation. Early reports from the Bella Vista Police Department (BVPD) confirmed Lawson’s death on November 10.
His family remembers him as a dedicated worker and loving father, leaving behind a 4-year-old daughter and two nieces. “He cared deeply for his loved ones,” they shared, emphasizing the profound loss felt by his family and community.
