Ravens Interview Joe Brady, Robert Saleh for Head Coach Role

URGENT UPDATE: The Baltimore Ravens have officially interviewed Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh for their head coaching vacancy. This comes just days after both the 49ers and Bills were eliminated from the NFL playoffs this past Saturday.

Brady, who has never held a head coaching position, has gained recognition for his work with both the Bills and the Carolina Panthers. Meanwhile, Saleh previously coached the 49ers’ defense for over three years and had a stint as head coach for the New York Jets before his dismissal last season.

The Ravens’ search for a new head coach has been intense following the recent firing of John Harbaugh, who led the team for 18 seasons. Harbaugh has quickly found a new role, having agreed to terms to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons on January 13, 2024.

As the Ravens move forward, they have also interviewed a host of candidates, including Mike McDaniel, Anthony Weaver, Jesse Minter, Jim Schwartz, Brian Flores, Kliff Kingsbury, Matt Nagy, Vance Joseph, Davis Webb, Klint Kubiak, Chris Shula, and Nathan Scheelhaase. Notably, Kevin Stefanski was previously in consideration but has since accepted a position with the Falcons.

This coaching search signifies a pivotal moment for the Ravens as they seek to revitalize their strategy and performance following a challenging season. The immediate future of the franchise hangs in the balance as they evaluate potential leaders who can bring new energy and direction.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story as the Ravens continue their search for a head coach capable of leading them back to playoff contention.
